KARACHI: Nisar Ahmad Khoro and Shehla Raza’s nomination papers have been approved for Speaker and Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly. Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah in a press conference at the Assembly Secretariat announced on Sunday approval of the nominations of Nisar Ahmad Khuhro and Shehla Raza of PPP. No other candidates had filed papers for the offices of speaker and deputy speaker. Nisar Khuhro filed four nominations while Shehla Raza two papers for the positions.

PPP members Ayaz Soomro, Haji Muzaffar Shujra, Murad Ali Shah, Sikandar Ali, Munawwar Abbasi, Ahmed Ali Shah, Shamim Ara and Mukesh Kumar proposed and seconded nominations of Nisar Khuhro, while Shehla Raza’s nominations were proposed and seconded by Shazia Mari, Fayyaz Bhutto, Saleem Khurshid Khokhar and Nasrullah Khokhar.-SANA
