ATC issues un-bailable warrants of Mehsud three others

ISLAMABAD: Anti Terrorism Court issued non-bailable arrest warrant of local Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud and three others Tuesday in case of Rawalpindi suicide attacks. The court also sent Rafaqat and Husnain Gul accused of involvement in Ms Benazir Bhutto’s assassination to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.

The court remanded the accused in the cases of two suicide blasts at police station Civil Line and RA Bazaar Rawalpindi. A police official has informed the court that the challan of these cases have been prepared but would be presented in the court after the approval of the Prosecution Department of the Punjab government.

The accused Rafaqat and Husnain Gull appeared in the special court of Anti Terrorism Rawalpindi Division on Tuesday amidst strict security of Elite Force Commanders and Police under the supervision of DSP Chaudhary Mujahid Hussain.-SANA
