ISLAMABAD: Only 189 seats out of 299 could be filled on the basis of result of CSS Examination 2007, sources said. Though all the 19 seats reserved for merit quota were filled, 11 seats out of 126 from Punjab, 36 out of 126 from Rural Sindh, 33 out of 41 from Urban Sindh, 5 out of 28 from NWFP, 10 out of 17 from Balochistan, 5 out of 10 from FATA and 10 out of 12 from AJK could not be filled because of lack of sufficient successful candidates.
Meanwhile different service groups have been allocated to successful candidates on the basis of the CSS Examination, 2007. Rizwan Umar Gonadal Roll No 3330 and Khalil Ahmed Roll No 2780 who got overall first and second positions respectively have been allotted Police Group. Mehtab Waseem Azhar Roll No. 2845 who got overall third position has been allotted District Management Group.-SANA
