Justice Nawaz takes oath as Acting CJ

ISLAMABAD: Senior Judge of Supreme Court Mr. Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi on Saturday took oath as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan here. Mr.Justice Saiyed Saeed Ashhad, Judge, Supreme Court of Pakistan administered the oath. Mr. Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi will be Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan, during the period, Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Abdul Hammed Dogar is abroad. Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Attorney General for Pakistan, Malik Muhammad Qayyum and other Law Officers of the Government attended the ceremony.-SANA

The DAWN Group of Newspapers, published by the Pakistan Herald Publications (Pvt.) Limited (PHPL) was founded by the Quaid-e-Azam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the father of the nation.
