Memon greets Fehmida, Kundi

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Information Minister Nisar A Memon has greeted Dr Fehmida Mirza on her election as first woman Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan. “On this historic occasion, I hope that the new speaker will set the highest standards of legislative business by standing neutral and giving equal opportunities to both treasury and opposition benches.†said the minister.
The caretaker information minister also greeted Faisal Karim Kundi on his election as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. The minister hoped that Faisal Kundi will support and assist the Speaker in running the House in smooth and most appropriate manner.-SANA
