28 kids among 59 hurt in two road accidents

KHUSHAB: Fifty-nine persons, including 28 children and ten women, were injured in two different road accidents in Khushab and Arifwala on Thursday morning. In the first accident 24 persons, including 20 children, were injured in collision between a passenger bus and a school van in Joharabad. The accident occurred at Khatta Chowk, Khushab when an over speeding Mianwali-bound bus, coming from Sargodha, hit a van carrying school children.

In another road accident 35 persons including eight children and ten women were injured near Arifwala. The accident occurred when a Multan bound bus coming from Kasur overturned after one of its tyre burst on the National Highway. The injured have been shifted to hospitals in Pak-Pattan, Sahiwal, Kabula and Arifwala.-SANA
