PML (N), PPP to form govts at centre, provincial levels: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim league (N) PML (N) president Shahbaz Sharif has said that his party was very comfortable in terms of number game in Punjab and the party leadership has decided to form a coalition government with the PPP in center and province. Twenty four independent MPAs in the Punjab province has decided to join us besides two MPA of the MMA has announced to support the N-League in the province. The PML-F has already announced its support to the N-League in the province, he said and added that there will be no problem in formation of government in Punjab.

“It is a very good opportunity for Pakistan to move forward and form sort of a national government at the Federal level which will augur very well for the future of democracy in Pakistan,” he observed. This will prove very affective for the rule of law and for collective wisdom, he said.“We are against horse trading and the people who have joined us are independents and they have joined us unconditionally in a very dignified and honorable manner under the law.”

The PCO has gone and we will take oath under the constitution of 1973 and PNL (N) will not become part of any unconstitutional act as its sole objective is to stop unconstitutional and illegal acts, he added. About Zardari statement that his party is ready to work with President Musharraf, Shahbaz said he was not sure about validity of the statement and his party policy is very clear that it cannot work with an illegal and unconstitutional President.-SANA
