LONDON: A rally organised by the Pakistan People’s Party and People’s Youth Wing has called for setting up a United Nations Commission to probe into the assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. The rally was held in front of the Pakistan High Commission in Central London, and the participants also included workers of Pakistan Muslim League-N, students, lawyers and human rights activists.

The protesters said only a high level investigation of this type could help to ascertain the real culprits behind the murder of the PPP Chairperson on December 27 in Rawalpindi. The PPP activists also demanded stoppage of smear campaign against the acting party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and the withdrawal of all cases against the PPP workers and their immediate release.-SANA
