DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and five other police personnel of the JUI (F) Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s security squad were injured in a road accident at York on Dera-Bunnu Road. Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, who was traveling in his own vehicle, and his other fellow passengers in the caravan were safe. As per details, the JUI (F) Chief was returning to his hometown Dera Ismail Khan along with his security squad in a motorcade from Bannu. At York, his squad vehicle, tailing Maulana’s car, collided with a truck on Dera-Bunnu Road. DSP Ashraf Zaman and five other policemen Tariq Jamshaid, Muhammad Irfan, Rahmatullah, Fazlur Rehman and Mukhtar were injured in the incident. They injured were rushed to the District Headquarter Hospital, D I Khan where their condition is reported to be stable.-SANA
