UN willing to probe Bhutto’s murder probe if requested

UNITED NATIONS: United Nations Thursday said that it was ready to assist the government of Pakistan in probing the Benazir Bhutto’s killing if the country requested for such help.Talking to media, spokesperson of UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon said that Pakistan has not requested the United Nations for any assistance in the probe. To a question, he said that the UN is investigating the Rafiq Hariri’s murder case on the formal request of Lebanese government. Meanwhile, a spokesman of the United Nations said that postponement of general elections in Pakistan is the counter’s internal matter.-SANA
