UN SC to discuss Pak situation after Bhutto’s assassination

NEW YORK: The United Nations Security Council to discuss the situation in Pakistan following the killing PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto, a UN spokeswoman said here on Thursday.

Marie Okabe told a foreign news agency that the 15-member council would meet on Thursday noon (5.00 pm GMT) to assess the situation after the suicide attack in an election campaign rally at which Bhutto and at least 16 other people were killed.-SANA
