Nawaz assures PPP to fight its war, condemns Bhutto’s killing
ISLAMABAD: PML (N) Chief Nawaz Sharif on Thursday strongly condemned the killing of Pakistan Peoples Party’s Chairperson Benazir Bhutto and told the PPP supporters, “I assure you that I will fight your war from now on.” Nawaz was speaking outside the hospital where Bhutto, 54, died in a suicide attack. He told the PPP workers that he share their sorrow and grief along with the entire nation. He said it was a great loss of the nation as she greatly contributed to strengthening democracy and played her positive role in the country’s politics.
The PML (N) Chief said that it is a matter of deep concern for everyone that anti-state elements are trying to sabotage the country’s political system by hatching conspiracies against political figures. He expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage and fortitude to the members of the bereaved family.

Mushahid condemns Bhutto’s killing
ISLAMABAD: Secretary General PML (Q) Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed has expressed his deepest grief and sorrow over the brutal killing of PPP Chairperson Ms. Benazir Bhutto. He termed the incident as an irreparable loss to the country. “Ms. Bhutto was an intrepid woman, who always fought every challenge of her life with nerve, courage, and resilience,” he said. He said that late Ms. Bhutto faced numerous tragedies in her life but always remained steadfast. He condoled with Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari and children of late Ms. Bhutto and said that the whole nation mourns her demise.

Qazi grieved over Bhutto’s assassination
ISLAMABAD: Amir Jamaat-i-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed expressing his deep shock and sorrow over the killing of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto termed the incident a huge tragedy for the nation and for the Bhutto family and called a country wide strike on Friday. He condoled with the Bhutto’s family and said the entire nation is grieved on the terrible incident. He also called a country-wide strike on Friday.-SANA

Bhutto’s death loss for South Asia: Mirwaiz
SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq has said Benazir Bhutto was a great leader and her death was a loss not only for Pakistan,but also South Asia.”Bhutto was a staunch supporter of the Kashmir cause and worked for its settlementon flexible and pragmatic lines,” he said, adding that the design behind her assassination was to lead Pakistan towards anarchy.”We think the Pakistani people and the Government should work together to defeat such forces and create a vibrant and strong Pakistan,” he said, adding that a strong Pakistan was essential for the settlement of the Kashmir issue.

Terming Bhutto’s death a personal loss, Mirwaiz said: “I met her several times over the years and she always spoke for the people of Kashmir. We are holding special prayers at Jamia mosque on Friday,” he said. APHC (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani also condemned the assassination. “It’s an inhuman act which has put a cloud on Pakistan’s future,” he said, adding that it’s a time when the people of Pakistan should stand united.”The assassination of Bhutto is meant to trigger instability in Pakistan and weaken
its foundation,” he said.-SANA
