MINA: About three million Muslims will perform Hajj Tuesday as the pilgrims left Makkah Mukarramah Monday for the valley of Mina to begin Hajj rites. Saudi authorities have established a huge tent city in the Valley of mina to accommodate the pilgrims. Pilgrims spent their day in prayers and meditation in Mina and offered Monday’s Zuhar, Asar, Maghrib and Esha prayers. Hujjaj will stay there at night in tents before heading further south to Mount Arafat for Waqoof after Fajr prayers Tuesday.

Waqoof-e-Arafat is the main ritual of the Hajj and the faithful will spend the day praying and asking God’s forgiveness there. The pilgrims here offer their Zuhar and Asar prayers combined.
Later, the pilgrims would leave for Muzdalfa, where delayed (Qasar) Maghrib and Esha combined prayers would be offered, while in the remaining part of the night, they would collect pebbles for Rami Jamarat.

Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. The pilgrims would return to Mina valley on Wednesday after offering Fajar prayer. Reaching Mina, they would perform Jamarat ul Aqaba, offer Qurbani and then would leave for Makka al Mukarrama, where they would perform around Baitullah Sharif Tawaf-e-Ziarat and, thereafter, shaving their heads and would take off Ehram. Later on, the pilgrims returning to Mina would also perform Rami Jamarat during the next two days.-SANA
