ISLAMABAD: The fifth International Workshop on “Frontiers of Information Technology” began here on Monday, organized by the Comsats Institute of Information Technology.During the two-day deliberations, the speakers and participants will discuss the recent developments and future trends in the Information Technology (IT).
Speakers, in the augural session, appreciated Pakistan’s progress in the IT industry during in the past seven years that sparked a revolution in various other sectors as well. They said sustainable efforts can make Pakistan one of the leading exporters in the IT products.
Besides Pakistan, participants from US, Austria and France are attending the workshop. They will present their research papers relating to the usage and applications of IT in various sectors including wireless communication, education and health.-SANA
