Nawaz meets Bhutto to discuss polls boycott

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif called on PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto here on Monday and discussed the upcoming general election and whether to boycott the polls. Nawaz Sharif arrived at Zardari House and held informal meeting with the Benazir Bhutto, PPP sources said. The party spokesman said that both the leaders will discuss whether or not to boycott upcoming polls.

Benazir has said that PPP will contest the upcoming general election while Nawaz Sharif has announced to boycott the polls till restoration of free judiciary. In the APDM meeting, Nawaz has said that the opposition alliance would try to persuade the PPP Chairperson to boycott the polls.
