ISLAMABAD: Livestock and Dairy Development Board has established 300 milk cooling units in 500 villages of the country for small and landless farmers to increase livestock productivity and help alleviate poverty in the country. According to official sources, government has allocated total budget of Rs 1588 million to boost livestock farming in rural areas of the country by adopting modern technologies. Three districts from all the four provinces of the country were selected as a pilot project through village organization.-SANA
