LAHORE: The Prime Minister has accepted the resignation of Chairman WAPDA Tariq Hamid who had tendered his resignation a few weeks back. According to sources, the news regarding the acceptance of resignation was disclosed by WAPDA officials. Tariq Hamid has expressed gratitude to the President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz for their support and patronage during his over three years’ tenure in office. He also commended the cooperation and service of WAPDA workers and colleagues for their whole hearted support during his service as head of the biggest utility service providing organization in the country.-SANA
