Pakistan provides conducive investment atmosphere: Wasi
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Privatization Mr. Wasi Zafar has said that privatization is the corner stone of the policy of present government. He was addressing the participants of National Management Course of Staff College Lahore. He said Pakistan is one of the fastest growing economies of Asia and its economic performance in the past eight years has been commendable. He said Pakistan provides conducive investment atmosphere to both foreign and local investors with level playing field.
He said the current investment policies have been evolved to suit investor needs and Pakistan’s policy trends have been consistent with liberalization, de-regularization and privatization.The Minister said the capital markets are being modernized and reforms have resulted in development of infrastructure in the stock exchanges of the country. -SANA
