Dravid to retire before 2011 cup

LONDON: Captain of Indian Cricket Team Rahul Dravid has said that he might not represent his country in the next cricket world cup scheduled to be played in 2011. In an interview, Dravid said that he will be 38 years of age in 2011 and might not play for his country. “Although it is too early to say but realistically it seems quite obvious that I will not play in 2011 world cup,” he said. He said that there is plenty of young talent in the game of cricket in India and he wants to see the young blood to replace him. Dravid said that he lamented his team’s performance in the last world cup in West Indies but it is part of the game. -SANA
